One fighter, one gym, one mission.
Darren founded Kao Sok in 1996. He started Muay Thai in 1990, progressed to compete, became a champion fighter and represented Australia at the World Championships held in Thailand. At the same time he trained a small group of fighters in his first gym in Canning Vale, and as a trainer has produced many champions.
In 2014 Darren opened a larger gym in Forrestdale and opened the doors to kids and non-fighters, while keeping a strong fight team. Kao Sok now also offers Boxing and BoxFit classes alongside Muay Thai.
Darren started promoting Muay Thai in Perth in 2002. Domination is the prominent Muay Thai event held in Perth, sourcing competitors from all over the world to compete against our best in Australia. He brings the best of Thailand's champions to Perth so that students here can learn from the best.

“It is a privilege to learn Muay Thai. Respect and discipline is a big part of it.”
